Pediatric Eye Examination

This is a full eye and vision exam for a child, adapted according to their age and overall development, taking into account the visual development of the child. The aim is to ensure that vision develops normally, to detect early any anomalies (such as strabismus, amblyopia, refractive errors, etc.), and to intervene if necessary to prevent future issues.

We accept children of all ages.

We strongly recommend a full visual exam from age 3, because much learning (reading, writing, play, coordination, etc.) depends on vision. If vision is deficient, the child may experience delays or academic difficulties.

It is also important to note that some visual disorders are not “visible” to the child (they may not complain because they don’t know what “normal” should be). The earlier the intervention, the better the probability of correcting or limiting deficits (for example amblyopia, strabismus).

From age 3, your child's vision makes all the difference at school.
