Complete Eye Examination

Our visual exams go far beyond simple visual acuity.

We evaluate both distance and near vision, while also taking into account binocular vision — in other words, the coordination between your eyes, their alignment, and your depth perception.

We also examine the overall health of your eyes using advanced techniques: slit-lamp biomicroscopy, tonometry (intra-ocular pressure), automated visual field testing, and fundus imaging (photography and optical coherence tomography).

Depending on your needs, we may perform pupil dilation or cycloplegia in order to obtain a comprehensive picture of your visual health.

Detection of Ocular or Systemic Diseases

Detection of Ocular or Systemic Diseases Through eye exams, our optometrists can detect conditions such as cataracts, glaucoma, macular degeneration, as well as signs of general diseases such as diabetes, hypertension, etc. We work in collaboration with regional ophthalmologists to provide you with the best possible follow-up for your eye health. Device combining retinal camera and optical coherence topography: OCT is a quick, painless exam that allows viewing the inside of the eye in cross-section, to detect and track more proactively and preventively diseases like glaucoma or macular degeneration.
